Tumor target molecules are investigated and their
applications in diagnosis and biological therapy for cancer are explored by means of the
techniques of cellular biology, molecular biology and molecular immunology. The platforms
with high throughput and efficiency for production of monoclonal antibodies and human
antibodies are been establishing. Diagnostic methods and targeted therapy for cancer will
be developed base on the antibody.
Several on-going projects supported by National 863
Program, National Natural Science Foundation, Shanghai Municipality and Shanghai Municipal
Bureau of Public Health are as following, e.g. diagnosis and therapy using mAbs for small
cell lung cancer, construction of human antibody library with high titer, establishment of
techniques for human antibodies with high affinity, screening and identification of
antigen gene of 2F7 mAb of small cell lung cancer, construction and function of a diabody
of 2F7 antibody against small cell lung cancer and the antibody against CD3, the function
of hepatocellular carcinoma suppressor 1 (HCCS1), and so on.
Diagnostic kit of radio-immuno-imaging for small cell
lung cancer has been approved by SFDA for a clinical trial. A number of prizes had been
awarded by the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress (Grade II and Grade III) for
several finished projects of the Department. |
